Namaste
Family Owned · Manang Village, Nepal · Since 1989
An intimate sanctuary of Himalayan luxury, where ancient peaks meet timeless elegance.
Family Owned & Operated Since 1989
As the Annapurna Circuit captured the hearts of adventurers in the 1980s, our grandfather, Shyangla Gurung, saw an opportunity to support weary travelers on their journey. In 1989, he founded Tilicho Hotel, offering comfort, warmth, and essential facilities to those preparing to cross the legendary Thorong La Pass. It began as a small homestay run by him and his sisters. What began as our grandfather's humble dream was lovingly carried on by his sons and eventually passed down to his granddaughter, continuing a family legacy built on warmth, dedication, and generations of hard work. From a quiet mountain shelter to a trusted haven for global trekkers, our journey has always been rooted in heartfelt hospitality and comfort. In 2003, to elevate the experience for our guests even further, we proudly opened Tilicho Bakery bringing fresh bakes, warm treats, and a touch of comfort to travellers in the heart of the Himalayas. Since then, it has become a beloved stop for trekkers seeking not just nourishment, but a cozy place to relax, recharge, and share stories from the trail.
